Our Story

Two People. Two Continents.
One Shared Vision.

Duncan Smith and Janice Iverson, co-founders of Black Wolf Reserve

Duncan, a Golf Professional, from Manchester, England. Janice, an Educator and Golf Executive, from Minnesota in the USA. Their paths crossed at a country club in Florida where conversation turned into friendship.

Black Wolf Reserve was born from that friendship and shared experiences, with the belief that some of life's best stories are created over good conversation and good company.

Our small batch bourbon whiskey is crafted to be enjoyed the same way the idea began, around a table, among friends, with stories worth remembering.

The Spirit

Born of Oak and Shadow

Black Wolf Reserve is a hand selected straight Kentucky bourbon whiskey, aged in new, charred American oak barrels for a rich, layered character rooted in tradition.

The first taste opens with caramel, toasted vanilla, and a whisper of black pepper, giving way to rich toffee, baking spices, and dark fruit over a base of subtle oak char. It carries through to a long, warming finish with lingering spice and a honeyed sweetness.

Bold, smooth, and unmistakably refined. Every bottle is distilled with dedicated attention to detail, crafted for those who appreciate a spirit with quiet confidence.

The Reserve

Four Grains. One Distinctive Bourbon.

Black Wolf Reserve is crafted with a carefully balanced four-grain mash bill, bringing together the best of each grain to create a bourbon with depth, character, and exceptional drinkability.

Corn

Provides the rich, natural sweetness at the heart of the bourbon.

Rye

Brings a touch of spice and character.

Wheat

Adds a smooth, rounded quality to the profile.

Malted Barley

Completes the mash bill, bringing the grains together into a balanced bourbon.
